oh hai. sorry for neglect (again) but i have been terribly busy. went to Skåne (sweden’s deep south) during the weekend and it was nice but rainy and windy. pretty much did two things which were on my bucket list. 1) visit Malmö’s library (which is in GLASS, how cool?!) and 2) talk to an attractive stranger on the train. so, yeah. also, went to the ER yesterday around midnight because a fish bone got stuck in my throat (or so i thought). the doctor and nurses were so flippin’ amazing, seriously. so great at calming nervous wrecks like myself. thank you!

so, yeah. that’s my weekend in a nutshell, basically. i hope y’all had a good weekend and second of Advent!

there’s a promise of cold and snow this week and yayayayyaa so excited!

today: made a visit to the doctor (which went well, thank God.) and bought fresh bakery sourdough bread for breakfast at Gateau. rode the bus with x number of high school teens and seriously, it feels like that could be me. time flies.

anyway, got my meds at the pharmacy and went home to find a Christmas card in the mail. first one of the year! “you should consider yourself extremely lucky to get another Christmas card this year” it started out and you know, that really touched my heart. such a lucky gal i am ♥

anywayz (that z is bugging you, amirite) now i’m gonna heat up some leftover salmon and dig into mah books of knowledge.

ttyl.

oop. forgot to add: booked a Christmas/December trip to Riga yesterday with Vi! woopie, third abroad trip of 2000 and 11, here we come!

(notice that this is homemade, as in self-crafted. iiih the creativity!)

hej.

going to a christmas concert tonight, saffran buns are yam, just generally procrastinating atm. here, have a picture of my lastest closet addition:

have a flawless saturday night, k?

mwah.

(i just really fucking miss NYC and america in general)

welp. sorry for neglect, blog. i could blame thanksgiving, but i ain’t american so alas that is not possible. still. sorry.

not much has happened to be honest. i’ve eaten loads of veggie food the past few days. don’t know why, but it’s delish.

yesterday i went flower shopping and random errand-running with mom. it was fun, because they have decorated downtown island very prettily. bought a blouse at H&M. might throw up a pic later, idk.

today i first had lunch at Herman’s with Vi. she just got back from Paris so that was all kinds of lovely. exchanged memories and she gave me a bow-studded bracelet which only really proves how well she knows me. what can i say, i’m a bow-lovin’ kinda girl.

after a looong lunch we met up with Adam, and then went to old town for some english bookshop-ing and took a look at the Christmas Fair. bought candied apples. went for a long walk, all across town, mind you. checked out the new smoothie bar (total hang-out for either a) gay people or b) rich people. had HS flashbacks), and hung out there for a bit. went jeans shopping. adam bought me chocolate pralines. exchanged books. sat and chatted in the subway for x hours.

now i’m home and exhausted. watched idol, and had some tangerine and christmas tea. going to bed. happy weekend, all!

shit i am doing instead of sleeping:

– making spotify playlists (that i can actually make public because they aren’t embarrassing aka have e-type on ’em)

– looking through old photographs

– tumblr, ontd

– just randomly rocking out in my fluffy pink socks and tights. at 0.39 in the morning.

some additional thoughts:

– here in estocolmo, sweden, the world in november; dusk starts at 1 pm. seriously. the sun hasn’t been out in weeks. no wonder swedish people are considered rude and generally depressed. do not take offense if people shove you when you’re out on town; come may they will all be drunk & happy. yay.

– my dear dad got me a macbook pro today. merci, gracias, thanks, tack. ❤

– we celebrated thanksgiving this weekend since obviously sweden isn’t really up to date with the american holidays and stuff. still. it was flawless and my cranberry sauce fucking owns.

so. yeah. i am procrastinator. hear me interneting instead of sleeping.

a weekend.

saturday morning glory.
